Tools for Productive Health Coaches!
Staying organized: Evernote is like my second brain. It has all my notes in a searchable database, program information, business ideas, PDFs, and much more. The search feature is the strongest part of Evernote since it can search within documents and your personal notes. I use Otter.ai to dictate my notes, then transfer them over to Evernote to be organized.

Design: Canva is so easy that a boomer could figure it out. I'm a millennial, and that's my metric for how easy it is to learn a tech skill (sorry). It’s great for making documents look nice, marketing graphics, presentations, video thumbnails, etc.
Video: Descript is excellent for video editing to promote your practice. Instead of traditional-style editing, you can trim the video by cutting out transcribed text from your video. It's pretty neat!
All-in-one: Kajabi* has recently replaced every other platform I use. It's replaced Convertkit email marketing, Thinkific video course hosting, PracticeBetter group, and individual coaching platform, and it even functions as a CRM!

News and science: Semantic Scholar is a better version of Google Scholar. You can keep track of relevant scientific articles related to your niche, and the AI will make recommendations based on what you save. Also, if you find an article with a paywall, there are certain sites to get around that and download the research for free- sites like SciHub or Z-library (use at your own risk).
Email: Protonmail is an excellent alternative to Google since it's more secure and HIPAA compliant! They also offer a great VPN service, which is essential for protecting you and your client's data when traveling.
Artificial Intelligence: Grammarly helps me write most of my content by cleaning up the first draft of whatever I write. It saves so much time and makes my writings easier to read. For moments when you hit writer's block, AI services like Jarvis can help as a digital writing assistant.
Automation: Zapier and IFTTT are two examples of services that can save time by automating repetitive tasks. Did a new client join your program? These taskers can automatically send out your onboarding packet right to their email. There are also social media automation platforms like Buffer or Hootsuite that save a lot of time.
Ouija board: Sometimes, you get a challenging client and need to summon beings from other worlds to seek answers. Just a joke, please don't summon demons.
Prevent procrastination: Let's face it, it can be very easy to get distracted when most of your work is on a computer with access to countless hours of entertaining videos. For Mac, Self-Control allows you to block out distracting sites for a select amount of time. For Android users, I use App-Block to accomplish the same thing on my phone. Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with similar apps for Windows.
Coaches, am I missing any powerful tools or platforms on this list? I'd love to hear your suggestions!
